Boat Lift Facility & Slipway, Presidential Guard Command
Supply and installation of SPIII sheet piles (approx. 95 LM); installation of 508 mm dia. coated pipe.
At Al Taweelah, HTC delivered a boat lift facility and slipway for the Presidential Guard Command. The works included the supply and installation of approximately 95 linear metres of SPIII sheet piles and the installation of 508 mm diameter coated steel pipe, forming the marine structure that allows vessels to be lifted from and returned to the water safely. The project was completed to the security, quality and safety standards required at a government facility.
The sheet piles were installed to form the retaining structure of the slipway and boat lift area, and the coated steel pipes were installed to the required line and level. Coatings were selected to protect the steelwork against the aggressive marine environment, and all works were coordinated closely with the client to respect the security requirements of the site.
