DanaPort, Fujairah

Demolition of the existing port facilities and construction of the new port for the longest superyacht in the world currently, including quay wall construction…

At DanaPort in Fujairah, HTC demolished the existing port facilities and constructed a new port designed to berth the longest superyacht in the world at the time of construction. The EPC scope included the new quay wall and associated marine and civil works, delivered to the exacting standards expected by the vessel's owners and operators.

The project began with the careful demolition of the existing port facilities, clearing the way for the new structures. The new quay wall was then constructed to suit the size and draught of the superyacht, with the marine and civil works sequenced to meet a demanding programme.

Project Goals

The aim of the project was to deliver a port capable of safely berthing and serving one of the largest yachts ever built.

  • Demolish the existing port facilities safely and efficiently.
  • Construct a new quay wall suited to the superyacht's size and draught.
  • Complete the associated marine and civil works to a demanding programme.
  • Meet the exacting quality standards of the vessel's owners and operators.

The new port at DanaPort is one of HTC's most distinctive projects, combining demolition, marine construction and civil works in a single EPC delivery.
