Foundation engineering and pile driving

Deep foundation work is where HTC began. Building on more than four decades of piling experience carried over from GDFC in the Netherlands, Europe and the Middle East, we design and install foundations for marine, port and heavy industrial structures.

We drive steel tubular piles, H-piles and sheet piles from land or from our own crane barge, and install bored and precast concrete piles where ground conditions require them. Each piling programme is planned around site investigation data, load requirements and the realities of Gulf ground conditions, from soft marine clays to cemented calcarenite.

Pile positions, inclinations and driving records are monitored throughout installation, and load testing is carried out to confirm capacity before the superstructure begins.
