Breakwater works completed ahead of schedule

HTC has completed breakwater works ahead of the agreed schedule, giving our client early access to a protected harbour basin.

The works involved the placement of core, filter and armour rock to the design profile, carried out by our marine plant with close survey control. Careful planning of rock supply and marine transport allowed placement to continue steadily, even during periods of challenging weather.

Final surveys have confirmed that the breakwater meets the design requirements, and the as-built documentation has been handed over to the client.
