Celebrating four decades of marine construction

This year we celebrate more than four decades of marine construction experience, a story that began with deep foundation work in the Netherlands and continues today across the UAE.

Our heritage goes back to 1980, when the Dutch Foundation and Civil Construction Company began delivering deep foundations in Europe and internationally. Operations in the Middle East followed in 2010, HTC was established in 2021, and in 2024 HTC acquired GDFC together with its equipment, marine fleet, crew and workforce.

Milestones along the way

• 1980: deep foundation work begins in the Netherlands and Europe.
• 2010: Middle East operations established, with a head office in Fujairah.
• 2021 and 2024: HTC is established and acquires GDFC.

Forty years of experience is something we carry onto every site. It gives us the confidence to take on complex marine projects and the responsibility to deliver them well.
